Okay, so now….. First we have some pictures of my family going through the “Buddha’s Nose” at Todaiji in Nara, and one of my painting the tile we bought to go towards rebuilding. That was kinda cool.
Then we have the trip to Tokyo on the shinkansen, which of course went by Mt Fuji, which there’s a picture of.
The first day in Tokyo we decided check out Odaiba, so we went to Palette Town and rode the GINORMOUS ferris wheel. It was actually a bit scary… it was somewhat windy at the top, and of course Dad had to keep getting up and moving around and…. augh.
And I had to get a picture with the huge gundam, of course. Which apparently fell down in the big 3/11 earthquake??? Which is why there was some construction going on around it and the building?? But it is vertical once more. (The gundam lives!! And now, I want to watch those new Evangelion movies…….)
We also went to akihabara of course (maid cafe, ohohohoho) and found a teeny tiny shrine nearby. Also a private school, with a random dolphin bouncy ride thing?? Which I had to try, and I made everyone else try it, too. THAT THING WAS SO MUCH FUN I WANT ONE *adds to mental list of things she needs in her Dream Mansion when she grows up*

“so we went to Palette Town” - all I can think of is did you go see Professor Oak while you were there?
